Pomegranate Overnight Oats
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup choice of milk (I use almond milk)
- 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 TBS chia seeds
- dehydrated apples OR fresh apples or pears, chopped (probably up to 1/4 cup)
Add all of your ingredients to containers. Refrigerate overnight and then enjoy! Note: I used dehydrated apples in my recipe. If using dehydrated apples, you can add them to the containers overnight. If using fresh apples or pears, I would chop them up and add right before you eat your oats. When you add your fresh fruit could be a personal preference thing as I like my apples and pears crisp. I probably only added 1-2 TBS of dehydrated apples. If I am using fresh fruit, I would add more- most likely up to 1/4 cup. If you know my way of cooking, you know I just eye ball my ingredients. I added 1/4 tsp of cinnamon and it was a light cinnamon taste. Add more if you like it! Quite confident I will be making this recipe often this winter with pomegranates in season!
